Nigerian Gospel Minister, Lilian Nneji has dropped the hint that she will be releasing a praise medley in October.
Lilian Nneji, an acclaimed praise minister stated this in an exclusive interview with First Baptist Church, Ikeja on Sunday, 8th October, 2023. Nneji was a guest minister during the church’s Moments of Gratitude service.

While encouraging her fans and followers to get ready to dance once the medley is out, she also shared the inspiration behind her famous song, Onwere ihe omere mu. Nneji noted that she sang it on stage about four years ago to give God praise for things he has done and the things undone as well.
She observed that Christians should not only praise God when something good has happened to them or when they receive a miracle. According to the energetic praise minister, gratitude should be an everyday affair.

On her view of Baptists and worshippers at First Baptist Church Ikeja, Lilian Nneji stated that she was excited when she received the invitation to minister as she respects churches who had been in existence such as the Baptists, Anglicans, Catholics and CAC. She added that those churches are traditionally known for hymn singing and for them to embrace more praise songs is a welcome development.
When asked how she started singing in church, the music minister stated that she started singing about 26 years ago and at the moment, she is a gospel music minister at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
She concluded by charging all Christians to keep their focus on Jesus as he is the author and finisher of their faith.
October is dedicated as the month of gratitude at First Baptist Church, Ikeja. It is usually four to five Sundays tagged Moments of Gratitude.
